Summer learning packets are distributed to students at the end of each school year. To request a replacement summer learning packet, please contact the main office at your child’s school. Summer learning packets are designed to promote exploration and conversation throughout the summer in order to prevent learning loss.
We encourage you to review the activities with your child. For each activity completed and book read (on your independent reading level), your child will receive one point. Based on accrued points, students will be placed into various prize categories and will be rewarded at our Welcome Back to School Pep Rally, which will be held in September.
We encourage you to visit our local library as well as explore our grade-level reading lists on our website. Additionally, entering sixth graders may utilize their Battle of the Books List to fulfill their Summer Reading.
