Parent / Teacher Organization (PTO)
- You would be giving directly back to your community!
- You would become part of a great TEAM!
- You could earn a Scholarship for your child/children by serving as a committee member or on the executive board!
- You would be supporting the OTSD faculty and staff!
- You could earn free entry to events and programs by serving as a committee member or on the executive board!
- We first and foremost support the WES and PRIFF faculty and staff!
- We help fund many academic rewards; such as, The Million Word Challenge, ARP challenges, Math Mania, etc.
- We fund ALL class trips and transportation for the trips!
- We plan programs for the students, staff and families; such as, Pre-K Pumpkin Patch, Halloween Dance, Gingerbread House Decorating, Family Blue claws, Father/Daughter event, Mother/Son event, Santa visits, Easter Bunny visits, etc.
- We plan and host The Scholastic Book Fair and the Holiday Shoppe (a low cost shoppe around Christmas for the kids to shop)!
- We plan events for the students, staff and families; such as, Out of Sight Alpaca visits, McDonald’s Proceed Nights, Color Run,
Annual Auction, Heart Shaped Pizzas, Superbowl Pool, Operation Gratitude, etc.
- We are part of the various groups and companies that give out Scholarships at Southern Regional
- JOIN the PTO– become a member for $5 per person
- JOIN the PTO to become a Room Parent in your child’s room!
- JOIN the PTO and volunteer at any of the programs or events to help out!
- JOIN the PTO and serve on a committee position
- ( Hospitality, Room Parents, Sunshine, Membership and Teacher Liaisons).
- JOIN the PTO and serve on the executive board
- (President, Treasurer, Secretary, Ways and Means and Programs).

- Room Parent Application & Contract – Please fill out the attached Form after your Membership Has Been Paid if you are interested in being considered for Room Parent for your child/children’s class room
- Waretown PTO Facebook Page – All of our events, programs, and announcements will be on our Facebook and our Class Dojo
- Facebook Mission for Mariners – This is our Facebook group for our fundraising events and/or items that we raffle off, including our annual Superbowl Boxes!
- PTO Party Form – you may print this form, fill out and send in with your teacher or your teacher may choose to create a similar google form for the parents to fill out.
